Program Manager - Data Archiving:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Program Manager - Data Archiving for a contract role. This position is a remote position located in Chicago, Illinois.
Program Manager - Data Archiving - Job Description:
The Data Archival Program Manager leads enterprise data archival initiatives supporting application decommissioning, regulatory compliance, data retention, and long-term information access across the health system. The role involves serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, compliance, legal, privacy, and archival solution vendors to evaluate, plan, and execute archival strategies for legacy applications and clinical systems.
Program Manager - Data Archiving - Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate the MediQuant/DataArk and other archival technology vendors, Scanning America, and other archival program and associated archival projects.
• Develop and maintain archival roadmaps, priorities, and project plans.
• Lead evaluations of legacy applications transitioning toward archival and decommissioning.
• Support governance committees responsible for data retention, archival, and disposition decisions.
• Partner with Compliance, Privacy, Legal, HIM, and business stakeholders to determine retention requirements.
• Assess archival options and recommend appropriate technologies and strategies.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with clinical, operational, technical, legal, and compliance teams.
