Job description

About the Role

The ERP Integration Manager will own the planning, execution, and ongoing management of ERP system integrations as we transition to and scale within Deltek Vantagepoint. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and business strategy — responsible not only for a successful migration, but for building the integration architecture and internal processes that support the organization long after go-live.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Governance

  • Define and own the ERP integration strategy, including system architecture, data flow design, and long-term scalability.
  • Establish governance frameworks, data standards, and integration best practices across the organization.
  • Assess integration implications of strategic transactions (e.g., M&A activity) and advise leadership on risk, scope, and resource requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend integration tools, middleware, and methodologies appropriate to the organization's growth trajectory.
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for all ERP integration decisions and issues.

Project & Program Management

  • Lead end-to-end ERP integration projects from discovery through post-go-live stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource plans, and risk registers for all active integration workstreams.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, IT, and project leadership to align integration timelines with business priorities.
  • Establish reporting cadences and communicate integration status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.
  • Manage integration budgets and provide accurate forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee data mapping, migration script review, and reconciliation procedures across all integration efforts.
  • Ensure data integrity through structured testing protocols, quality checkpoints, and formal sign-off processes.
  • Guide and review technical work performed by internal specialists and external partners, leveraging working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Supervise configuration of Deltek Vantagepoint workflows and custom reporting built in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Identify and resolve technical blockers that could affect timeline, data quality, or system stability.

Platform Stewardship & Continuous Improvement

  • Serve as the organization's primary subject matter expert on Deltek Vantagepoint integrations, data architecture, and system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, runbooks, and reusable frameworks for future implementations.
  • Monitor system performance post-integration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Research and evaluate new Deltek Vantagepoint features, tools, and ecosystem updates relevant to the organization.
Qualifications

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in ERP implementation, systems integration, or enterprise data management.
  • 2+ years in a project leadership or integration management role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and holding implementation partners accountable to deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and ETL processes — sufficient to review and guide technical work.
  • Hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint, including data structures and migration methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communicator — able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and reconciliation principles.
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and professional services business operations.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting ERP integration through M&A transactions or rapid organizational growth.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio for custom reporting within Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Background in professional services (AEC, management consulting, or similar industries).
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint workflow configuration and system administration.
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
What Sets This Role Apart

This role is being created at a critical inflection point — as the organization transitions to Deltek Vantagepoint and evaluates significant strategic transactions. The ERP Integration Manager will have direct influence over how the company manages its systems and data through a period of accelerated growth. If you are a technically grounded, operationally minded leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
