Job description

Job Summary:
Johnsonville is a family-owned company known for its innovative sausage-making since 1945. They are seeking a Director of Enterprise Master Data to lead the transformation and management of master data across various domains, ensuring data quality and governance while collaborating with business units and IT.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and coach the enterprise master data team, consolidating decentralized functions into a unified organization.
• Support the Chief Information Officer in executing the enterprise MDM strategy and roadmap.
• Champion data quality and stewardship across business units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise to define and enforce data standards, policies, and ownership.
• Facilitate the Master Data Governance Council and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Drive the selection, implementation, and optimization of MDM platforms and tools.
• Design and implement scalable workflows for data creation, maintenance, and change management.
• Monitor and improve data quality metrics, SLAs, and compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day master data operations across domains and geographies.
• Manage data cleansing, enrichment, and integration efforts.
• Lead pilot programs and scale successful initiatives across the enterprise.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in data management, enterprise systems, or business process leadership, required
• Proven experience implementing MDM solutions and leading cross-functional data initiatives, required
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP, SuccessFactors HRIS, Planning and PLM systems and their data structures, required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field, preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred
