  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex data issues, including root‑cause analysis for data quality or performance concerns.

Data Governance, Quality & Compliance

  • Support enforcement of data governance standards, including data definitions, ownership, lineage, and documentation.
  • Establish and maintain data quality validation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reporting data.
  • Ensure data warehouse design and usage comply with HIPAA, GLFHC security policies, and privacy requirements.
  • Assist with audits, grant reporting, and regulatory reviews by ensuring data is well‑documented, traceable, and reliable.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as a senior technical resource and liaison between Information Services, clinical teams, operations, finance, and leadership.
  • Translate business and clinical reporting needs into clear technical requirements and data models.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to BI developers, analysts, and report writers to ensure appropriate and consistent use of warehouse data.
  • Participate in cross‑functional planning and prioritization discussions related to data, reporting, and analytics initiatives.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Act as a technical mentor and subject matter expert for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence staff.
  • Review and provide feedback on data models, queries, and reporting solutions to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the Health Center’s data and analytics roadmap.
  • Stay current with healthcare data, analytics, and warehouse trends and recommend practical improvements aligned with GLFHC needs.
