TRUMPF is seeking a self-motivated Order Management Intern to support the smooth and accurate processing of customer orders from entry through delivery. In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales, logistics, production, finance, and other internal teams to help ensure orders are handled efficiently and customers receive timely updates.
Internship Duration: Onsite in Farmington, CT from January 2027 - August 2027 At least 24 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the entry, maintenance, and tracking of customer orders in internal systems
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, production, and finance teams to resolve order-related questions
  • Help investigate and resolve delivery, pricing, invoicing, or documentation issues
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure relevant documentation is complete
  • Identify opportunities to improve order management processes and data quality
  • Support ad hoc projects and administrative tasks within the Order Management team
  • Support the Order Management team in several key projects:
    • SOCR After Tear Down process
    • Customer Order Management Experience
    • Internal order processing automations
    • Incoming Order Quality

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program such as business administration, supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Interest in customer service, operations, and supply chain processes
