Job description

Duties Program Management Support personnel must possess current acquisition and program management knowledge and experience supporting DoD weapon systems (preferably Air Force). Experience should include managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk. These activities balance multiple factors influencing cost, schedule, and performance, including meeting organizational and financial goals, risk management, schedule management, project integration, financial management, and integrating separate functions to plan and implement acquisition management in accordance with DoD 5000 series policy and AFI 63-101/20-101.

Responsibilities include: * Creating and supporting program documentation and activities such as Early Strategy and Issues Sessions, Acquisition Strategy Panels, IMPs/IMSs, Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Clinger-Cohen Act compliance documentation, cybersecurity strategies, Program Protection Plans (PPPs), Life Cycle Management Plans (LCMPs), risk management plans, milestone briefings, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management, budget and cost research and analysis, PWS development, CDRL development and coordination, and Security Classification Guide (SCG) development and coordination. * Providing specialized acquisition and program management services to assist the Government with acquisition planning, execution, and overall program support. * Developing, reviewing, coordinating, and following up on cost estimate requests, cost impact requests, changes in scope, and purchase requests, with awareness of required external agency points of contact.

* Supporting Program Management Reviews (PMRs), System Requirements Reviews (SRRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), System Safety Groups (SSGs), production status meetings, design reviews, TIMs, provisioning and supply conferences, technical data conferences, Test Plan Working Groups, and other related program meetings. * Creating, drafting, updating, and modifying agendas, briefing materials, and meeting minutes. * Drafting, updating, and supporting documentation including studies and analyses of provisioning lists, ACAT and Services Acquisition Category (SCAT) documentation, PPPs, LCMPs, and risk management plans.

* Utilizing the CCaRS system to initiate documentation and generate reports to define and coordinate program requirements, formulate budgets, forecast and track program execution, and reconcile execution data across DoD acquisitions and LCM program execution. Minimum Education & Experience MA/MS or BA/BS and 3 years of DoD experience Target Experience 3 years Required Experience and Skills * Experience completing acquisition program management tasks that support the life cycle management (LCM) of products and systems within Defense Acquisition System processes using UCA, MTA, MCA, Software Acquisition, or Acquisition of Services pathways. * Experience developing pre- and post-award documentation, milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, and decision documentation.

Required Professional Qualifications Acquisition qualification through one of the following: * Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Credential Program: CACQ-010 Foundational Acquisition Intelligence Credential; or * Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) / Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP), any level; or * A degree or certificate in Life Cycle Management (LCM), Product LCM, or a related field from a U.S. Department of Education-accredited institution
