KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Managing Director, Data Portfolio Management to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide data portfolio intake and delivery strategy for data services across KPMG's business portfolios; serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders, ensuring data investments align with strategic priorities and business outcomes
  • Provide leadership and governance over the IDS intake, input on prioritization, funding, and execution of data and analytics initiatives; drive alignment with speed between business demand, digital capabilities, and long-term technology and data roadmaps to maximize value, scalability, and return on investment
  • Partner with the CDO, executive stakeholders and Client Success Directors (CSDs) to understand strategic objectives, identify opportunities to leverage data for value, and translate business priorities into actionable data, analytics, and AI-enabled transformation strategies
  • Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) and success measures for data services, including adoption, business value realization, stakeholder satisfaction, and operational effectiveness; drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams across Digital Nexus, business functions, and leadership forums to resolve complex challenges, prioritize investments, and accelerate delivery of strategic outcomes
  • Works closely with the data organization leadership team on data strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives, ensuring enterprise alignment, organizational readiness, and successful adoption of solutions
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in a senior-level client success, business relationship management (BRM), or data portfolio management role within a large, complex enterprise; experience in a "Big Four" accounting or professional services environment is a significant advantage
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, information technology, data science, or a related field is preferred; or minimum twelve years of recent and relevant equivalent experience is required
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, data-enabled business transformation programs, with demonstrated success bridging the gap between highly technical data delivery teams and non-technical business stakeholders
  • Outstanding collaborative skills with a proven track record of breaking down silos and driving alignment in a matrixed organization
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms, and vice versa
