Job Title: Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & HCM Technical Consultant
Location: Remote – Must work Eastern Time Zone hours

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical Consultant with strong hands-on development and troubleshooting experience across both Oracle Fusion Financials and HCM.
This is not a single-module position. Candidates must have practical experience in both Fusion Financials and Fusion HCM. The role focuses primarily on production support, continuous development, custom integrations, reports, data loads, Fast Formulas, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
The consultant will work directly with business users, functional teams, payroll administrators, finance teams, and external application teams to gather requirements, document technical designs, develop solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and support ongoing enhancements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud technical and techno-functional experience across both ERP Financials and HCM.
  • Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting RICEW objects across Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Strong functional understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and related inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Candidates with experience in only Financials or only HCM will not be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud RICEW objects across Financials and HCM.
  • Provide production support and continuous development for custom reports, integrations, data loaders, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, APIs, and related technical components.
  • Work directly with business users and functional teams to gather and document business requirements, technical requirements, integration mappings, and solution designs.
  • Design and develop new inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and external applications.
  • Develop and support Accounts Payable invoice integrations using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, ATP Database, and PL/SQL.
  • Develop and support Accounts Receivable invoice and customer transaction integrations.
  • Troubleshoot AP invoice import issues involving suppliers, supplier sites, purchase orders, invoice validation, accounting distributions, payment terms, taxes, and duplicate invoices.
  • Troubleshoot AR invoice import issues involving customers, transaction types, accounting distributions, AutoInvoice errors, receipts, and other validation failures.
  • Develop and support GL journal interfaces and related financial reporting requirements.
  • Develop custom Fast Formulas for HCM extracts, payroll, benefits, absence, time and labor, validations, and HDL transformations.
  • Develop HCM Extracts for employee, payroll, benefits, assignment, and other workforce-related outbound interfaces.
  • Develop and support inbound HCM integrations using HDL, HSDL, HCM Data Loader transformation formulas, REST APIs, and OIC.
  • Design and develop OIC integrations using ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, REST, SOAP, Database, SFTP, and Stage File adapters.
  • Build OIC orchestrations with mappings, lookups, validations, notifications, fault handling, logging, auditing, and transaction-reprocessing capabilities.
  • Develop ATP staging tables, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and APIs to validate inbound data before calling Fusion APIs or submitting FBDI and HDL processes.
  • Develop and maintain custom value sets used by Fast Formulas, flexfields, reports, integrations, and business validations.
  • Develop and troubleshoot BI Publisher and OTBI reports across Financials and HCM.
  • Develop and support AP check-printing reports, BI Publisher data models, RTF templates, payment formats, and printer-layout requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Positive Pay files and other bank-related outbound integrations.
  • Monitor scheduled integrations and troubleshoot failures involving OIC, ATP, HDL, FBDI, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, APIs, and ESS scheduled processes.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring production issues.
  • Support CRP, SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment, production cutover, and post-go-live activities.
  • Prepare technical design documents, data-mapping documents, test scripts, deployment plans, production-support procedures, and integration runbooks.
  • Support Oracle Fusion quarterly updates by performing impact analysis and pre-update and post-update regression testing.
