Rack AssemblerDepartment:StagingReport to:Director of Operations

The Rack Assembler is a vital part of our operations, responsible for building, assembling, and organizing racks to support the company's ongoing projects. This position requires a detail-oriented, physically capable, and adaptable individual who can handle hands-on tasks efficiently and maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Rack Assembly & Construction

  • Assemble racks and related structures according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure all components are properly installed and secure.
  • Inspect completed racks for quality, stability, and accuracy.
  • Follow assembly instructions and use tools safely and effectively.

Inventory & Material Handling

  • Monitor parts and materials needed for assembly.
  • Assist in organizing, sorting, and labeling components for easy access.
  • Report material shortages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Help with staging racks and components for shipment or deployment.

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
  • Provide support across departments as needed during high-volume periods.
  • Assist with general warehouse or floor organization to maintain an efficient workspace.

Safety & Quality Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe practices to management.

Working/Physical Conditions

  • Environment: Primarily warehouse/floor-based with hands-on assembly tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Frequent interaction with team members and supervisors; occasional assistance for other departments as workload demands.
