Required Skills: Capital Markets experience; Understanding of Margin, Equity/Collateral, Margin loans, etc. Understanding of risk measures such as Greeks, stress and VaR

Role Description 

Strong analytical ability, independent problem solving, and good communication skill 

Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture

6-8 years of Java/Python or other OO Programming 

Distributed processing using queues/messaging/grids/caching/event management/scalability and application monitoring

Strong SQL programming and data investigation experience 

5 years of Capital Markets experience; Understanding of Margin, Equity/Collateral, Margin loans, etc. Understanding of risk measures such as Greeks, stress and VaR 

Experience with Agile Development 

Self starter with strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple projects at one time

Wok independently and as a team member

Desired Skills:

Experience in object oriented systems; distributed computing and service oriented system design; understanding of the concepts of system technologies and topology is desired.

Experience of front and middle office analytical applications is desired

Exposure to real time systems, high-volume mission critical straight-through processing systems and pricing and risk engines is desired
