Overview

CTG is seeking a Data Engineer – Data Integration for our client. This contract opportunity focused on enterprise data integration, ETL development, data quality, and data warehouse solutions.

Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 4 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Build and support data integration processes for enterprise data warehouses and regulatory reporting.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
  • Perform data profiling, source system analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot ETL failures, production issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Perform root cause analysis and impact analysis for source system changes.
  • Document data mappings, business rules, ETL processes, and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integration.
  • Experience with data profiling, data quality, reconciliation, and source system analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting production ETL environments.
  • Knowledge of Ab Initio and/or IBM DataStage is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
