Position Overview
We're seeking a Data Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between the Power BI dashboard layer, Data Warehouse layers, Data Ingestion processes and the various source systems. Your expertise will drive actionable insights, enhance efficiency, and empower our engineering teams through coordinated knowledge sharing and the creation of support tools.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Expertise: o Maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear visualizations of complex data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.
Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI queries, data connections, and performance.
Snowflake Integration: o Leverage your knowledge of Snowflake and general data warehousing to support our views from various data sources.
Optimize data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow into Snowflake.
Monitor and enhance data quality and performance within Snowflake.
Tooling and Automation: o Create custom tooling to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Develop scripts, utilities, or automation solutions to address specific engineering needs.
Contribute to building a robust data infrastructure.
Support for Engineers: o Assist with data-related challenges, including debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
Collect and present feedback from engineering teams for the working of defects and enhancements.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Power BI for report creation and dashboard development.
Strong understanding of Snowflake or a similar data warehousing tool and its integration capabilities.
SQL
Python
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Prior experience supporting engineering teams is a plus.
