Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including knowledge of fast track design build processes and associated documents and contracts.
  • Understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry and start up/commissioning processes.

You will serve as the central point of alignment across partner teams, deftly navigating shifting priorities and managing change controls to ensure every facility is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities
  • Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.
  • Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.
  • Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs.
  • Maintain end-to-end responsibility from construction to deployment.
  • Resolve highly critical issues within matrix organization while maintaining rigorous adherence to project timelines and costs.
