Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Orlando, FL ( Day 1 Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

An Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of Oracle databases. The role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of database systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies
  • Perform database backup and recovery operations using RMAN
  • Manage database security, users, roles, and privileges
  • Ensure high availability through RAC, Data Guard, or replication setups
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations of Oracle databases
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide quick resolution
  • Monitor system health, storage, and capacity planning
  • Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripts or PL/SQL
