Background Investigation Required As a trusted partner and leader in providing energy and sustainability consulting services to the federal government, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) understands the increasing complexity of achieving energy security and data management in a changing world. As part of the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability (ERS) Division, you will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services to deliver solutions that address critical infrastructure resilience and security, and data management issues and support the military mission, while reducing environmental impacts. We take our role seriously, as our efforts ensure our installations and assets are prepared in any operating environment, present and future. Key Responsibilities:
• Support execution of enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Assist in defining and documenting data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models
• Help operationalize governance processes across business units
• Support onboarding of datasets and systems into enterprise data catalogs
• Assist with metadata tagging, classification, and glossary alignment
• Help document data lineage and relationships between systems
• Assist in identifying data quality issues and supporting remediation tracking
• Support development and monitoring of data quality metrics and dashboards
• Help identify risks related to data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Partner with data stewards, system owners, and business teams to promote governance adoption
• Support working groups, governance boards, and data domain initiatives
• Help translate governance requirements into practical business processes
• Document governance workflows, standards, and best practices
• Support development of training materials and user guidance
• Assist with system inventories and data asset documentation Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Public Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data governance, data management, business/data analysis, data quality support, or information management.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and frameworks
• Experience working with data catalogs, metadata, or data inventories (academic or professional)
• Working knowledge of Excel and data analysis concepts
• Basic SQL knowledge (preferred but not required)
• Experience documenting processes, standards, or workflows
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC). • Ability to obtain and maintain as US Government Secret Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to translate business needs into structured documentation
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications:
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience supporting a formal data governance program
• Exposure to enterprise data catalogs (Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation)
• Experience working with data stewards or domain owners
• Experience supporting data quality initiatives
• Experience in government, defense, healthcare, utilities, or regulated industries
• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP – Associate level)
• DCAM (EDM Council) Foundations awareness
• Collibra Ranger (entry-level exposure)
• Microsoft Certified: Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – early-stage exposure
