Position Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Master Data Coordinator to join our dynamic Customer Operations team. The successful candidate will enter and maintain master data within SAP, analyze and correct EDI transactions that fail, provide training to team members, and develop standard operating procedures. This position requires proficiency in excel and navigating large amounts of master data.

Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Entry/Maintenance:
    • Process Master Data Requests from the business in SAP.
    • Maintain Data based on Master Data Governance.
  • Data Extraction and Preparation for Reports:
    • Perform daily data extraction and preparation for report datasets.
    • Update / Refresh daily manual reports in Excel.
  • EDI Transaction Management:
    • Monitor and resolve tickets for EDI Transaction Failures.
    • Investigate root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide training and guidance to the business in master data processes and functions.
    • Develop and update training materials as needed.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
    • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures for master data processes. Specifically in the areas of master data setup and data maintenance.
    • Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and effectively implemented across the team.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data role, with a focus on reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with EDI
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs and SOPs.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and customer focus.
