To strengthen our Outcomes, Analytics and Managed Services practice, we are looking for talented individuals to fill the position of: Data Extraction Specialist
The Outcomes, Analytics and Managed Services practice focuses on converting data contained in unstructured documents to structured formats for better insights. The team utilizes an AI/ML platform augmented by human review to extract data followed by SQL based transformation to convert to target format.
Position Summary
The position contributes to our customers success by managing data extraction, transformation, loading and analysis of data for a variety of Contracts. The analyst will work closely and collaboratively with the Project Manager, the review team and client stakeholders to ensure project success.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning workshops with clients, elicit requirements, document and obtain sign-off
  • Configure and utilize the AI platform to load and extract data from contracts
  • Perform Machine Learning to build new extraction models
  • Train a group of manual reviewers on the requirements of the project and the required extraction rules
  • Assist the manual reviewers with queries and perform audit of their work and provide feedback
  • Understand the target system requirements and document required transformation requirements and design
  • Load metadata, relationships, and related attachments into various client environment and prepare success logs
  • Provide timely status reporting to the Project Manager and advise of any potential abnormality
  • Identify data quality/integrity issues propose solutions and oversee their final resolution
  • As part of the project closure, evaluate and make recommendations for future improvements
  • Review existing migration tools and provide recommendations for improving performance of the migration process
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong communications skills
  • Background in relational database concepts, such as parent-child relationships, one-to-many, many-to-many relationships, primary/surrogate key, normalization a plus.
  • Able to understand Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and data models
  • Ability and Motivation to learn Contract language
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • Willingness to learn SQL and Tableau

Desired Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of Professional Services experience or project delivery experience required
    • Experience in more than one phase of software implementation and/or delivery
    • Client facing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with aspects of software implementation project management including managing project deadlines, communicating with project stakeholders, escalating issues to the internal team, preparing functional and technical specification documentation
  • Ability to engage and successfully interact with the client and project team at all levels
  • Ability to handle multiple roles and support multiple active projects
  • Well-spoken with highly effective communication skills delivering concise, but effective messages in a team environment
  • Knowledge of contract language: Parties, Governing Law, Liability etc
