Job description

Job Title: Senior Data Expert - Data Discovery & Governance
Duration: 3-4 Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Type: Remote / Project-Based
Job Summary:
Seeking a senior Data Expert with strong experience in data discovery, classification, cybersecurity, data protection, governance, and lifecycle management. The consultant will lead enterprise data discovery and classification initiatives, evaluate data security/governance tools, and support Collibra integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data discovery, inventory, classification, and governance initiatives.
  • Evaluate tools including OneTrust, BigID, Varonis, Cyera, Delphix, RecordPoint, Collibra, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) evaluations.
  • Assess classification accuracy, security, scalability, integrations, usability, and metadata flow.
  • Develop recommendations, implementation feasibility assessments, and a roadmap.

Requirements
