(Student) Data Reporting Assistant 2026
DEPARTMENT: Admissions-Call Center
WORK LOCATION: Grand Rapids - Lettinga Campus
POSITION PAY RANGE: $13.73
SUMMARY:
The Data Reporting Assistant coordinates, enters, and maintains critical data regarding prospective and current students of the University. Duties include collecting and entering data into various databases, tracking and reporting data entry metrics and using this information for the improvement of processes in the Enrollment Operations Center and Davenport University. Additional responsibilities include significant support to the EOC department. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the University's mission, vision, and values, which include diversity, equity and inclusion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Follow the departments Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Data Processing (Managing Applications, Generate Acceptance/Denial Letters/Packets, Entry of Lead Cards and Test Scores).
  3. Identifying and resolving duplicate Leads and Applications within Salesforce/Banner.
  4. Create and run Reports within Salesforce.
  5. Data integrity and process optimization within Salesforce.
  6. Actively participate in the continuous improvement efforts of the Enrollment Operations Center, provide suggestions for improvement and participate in the implementation of the new solutions.
  7. Provide administrative support to the Lead Management Team.
  8. Provides GREAT customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our customers.
  9. Understand and abide by all external and internal regulations and policies. This includes NCAA, GLIAC and national affiliations associated within athletics or other role specific regulations.
  10. Demonstrate and promote the University Cultural Values.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours and meeting the standards of academic progress.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
  • CRM software or Data Entry experience helpful but not required
  • Positive organizational and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment, spirit of cooperation and positive reactions to change and conflict resolution.
  • Motivational and problem solving capabilities with a high degree of integrity, ethics, and dedication to the mission of the university.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and relate well to students, parents, faculty, staff, and others while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
  • Office environment requiring prolonged sitting and standing, and use of personal computer and telephone (eye strain and repetitive hand motion). No regular lifting requirements, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
