Job Title: Custom Cable Tech 6:00am - 2:30pm M-F.
Job Description: Operates machines or performs manual operations to produce parts. Loads, unloads, and checks parts for conformance to requirements and records results. Packages product as specified on the order
Responsibilities:
  • Operate machines and perform manual operations to produce parts as directed by lead operator or supervisor. Performs simple set-ups as needed.
  • Roll cable to specified lengths onto spools or package in cardboard box.
  • Measure, cut, punch, and solder dip braided straps.
  • Follow drawings to measure, cut, and crimp booster cable assemblies.
  • Observes all safety rules and regulations.
  • Performs inspections as required by ISO procedures or customer requirements.
  • Completes paperwork/data entry for recording inspections, production data/orders, or other activities.
  • Reports unsafe acts and unsafe conditions to the lead operator or supervisor.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to perform operations using units of weight and length measurement.
  • Ability to accurately read and write in English and comprehend instructions.
  • Requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with basic computer data entry.
  • Must lift 50lbs or more
  • Stand for more than 8 hours
  • Use hands and fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arm.
