Job description

Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for a Materials Coordinator. This position oversees the flow of goods in and out of a facility, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proper storage for Printed Circuit Boards Assembly (PCBA).


Essential Functions

  1. Inventory Management: Track incoming and outgoing stock, maintain accurate records, and update inventory databases regularly to prevent discrepancies.
  2. Receiving and Processing Stock: Inspect shipments, record product details, report damages or discrepancies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  3. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, coordinating with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery. Pull orders for kitting needs with generated pick list.
  4. Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and ensure production lines are adequately supplied.
  5. Audits and Quality Control: Conduct regular physical counts, daily cycle counts, verify inventory accuracy, and inspect products for quality or damage.
  1. Shipping: Prepare and package material shipments with required certification paperwork in accordance with established procedures, policies and industry regulations; perform outgoing shipment activities to validate and ensure accuracy, compliance and condition of material shipments are in accordance with industry and regulatory standards and adheres to established work processes, instructions and defined systems practices. Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and labeling with appropriate shipping information and complete appropriate paperwork. Contact carriers to schedule pick-ups in an effective and timely manner.
  1. Organization and Storage: Maintain a clean, organized storage area, optimize space, and ensure items are stored safely.
  2. Data Entry and Reporting: Record inventory data, generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and trends to support management decisions.

Physical Demands

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. 2+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Associate degree in electronic related field.

  1. Knowledge of Inventory Management Software and Job Management Software (ERP).
  1. Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
  2. Proficiency in inventory control procedures and computer systems.
  3. Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
