Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer / Quoting Specialist to support engineering and manufacturing operations through accurate cost estimating, cable design, and technical quoting. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to develop battery cable and wire harness solutions. Keywords: Industrial Engineer, Quoting Engineer, Cost Estimator, Wire Harness Engineer, Electrical Design, BOM, CAD, Manufacturing Engineering.
Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and bills of materials (BOMs) for cable and harness assemblies
* Review customer drawings and specifications to determine materials, wire lengths, and components
* Design and revise cable and wire harness assemblies using CAD tools
* Communicate with clients via email to gather requirements and provide technical support
* Maintain organized records of quotes, designs, and customer communications
* Collaborate with production and purchasing to ensure feasibility and material availability
* Create spreadsheets and documentation using Microsoft Excel and Office tools
* Support engineering projects, including documentation and process improvements
Requirements
* Associate or Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Experience with cable design, wire harness assembly, or engineering quoting
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
* Excellent written communication skills (email-based client interaction)
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Preferences
