Full Time Pharmacist (RHN515)
Professional Objectives:
Ensure proper care and service is provided to all guests that patron our pharmacies in order to build confident and trust with the pharmacist/patient relationship. Our company believes that personal service and care is one of the most influential factors that guests consider when choosing which pharmacy they visit. Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are properly filled and dispensed according to company standards and guidelines provided by Pharmacy Leadership (Pharmacy Manager and Director of Pharmacy) while ensuring compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Wisconsin Law.
Responsibilities:
*Full Time Pharmacists would be required to travel at times to other pharmacy locations as needed to support rotations. Primarily in our Rhinelander and Tomahawk locations.
*Comfortable and family-style transitional housing is owned and available by the company for qualified candidates.
*Clinical Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacist, and Full Time & Part Time positions - all available with flexibility of hybridized roles based on candidates.
  • Ensure proper care and service is provided to all guests and patients that patron our pharmacies in order to build confidence and trust in the pharmacist/patient relationship.
  • Conduct inventory management functions for all controlled substances according to company standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate controlled substance (CII) inventory levels regularly and perform appropriate orders via Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS).
  • Report any medication errors in a timely manner and ensure proper documentation, notification processes, and communication is executed.
  • Conduct coaching, training, and development of pharmacy technicians, especially with any changes or adaptations to work flow or practices within the pharmacy.
  • Support other pharmacy tasks when needed such as data entry, fulfillment, inventory control, answering patient questions, working with health care providers and insurance carriers.
  • Be knowledgeable of expectations of other staff positions (data entry, fulfillment, inventory) and hold the staff accountable for those expectations
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure patients are educated on various medications, their side effects, the proper doses, and the determination if alternative options are available.
  • Assist with patient check-out processes to ensure the proper payment is performed at the pharmacy's register.
  • Work closely with delivery drivers to ensure proper notification is received for any medication deliveries.
  • Coordinate time and schedules in the event a one-on-one consultation is requested by a patient or a guest.
  • Follow all applicable HIPAA and other confidentiality laws in order to protect compliance and liability interests for the company.
  • Communicate with Pharmacy Leadership (Pharmacy Dept. Manager and Director of Pharmacy) to evaluate workflow processes and implement changes as necessary

Requirements:
  • Clear and valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license required.
  • 1+ years pharmacist experience preferred.
  • Immunization-certified.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
  • Excellent computer skills, including pharmacy operations system knowledge.
