Position Description: This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse accounting software and contribute to the economic health of our organization across corporate, non-profit, and governmental sectors. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting principles, and the ability to produce clear financial reports. Applicants should be prepared to handle complex reconciliations and support budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
Record journal entries accurately using double-entry bookkeeping principles.
Reconcile bank statements and perform bank reconciliations regularly.
Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
Maintain detailed records of financial transactions using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Quicken, and other financial software tools.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards relevant to the organization’s sector.
Support budgeting activities by analyzing expenses and preparing financial reports.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues requiring resolution.
