If you're detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to join a team that plays an important role in keeping landfill operations running smoothly. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll ensure critical shipping and hazardous waste documentation is accurate, compliant, and processed efficiently.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Review incoming manifest paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter and verify manifest data, including DOT descriptions and RCRA hazardous waste codes, in the computerized management system.
  • Work with the Customer Service team to resolve paperwork discrepancies.
  • Upload documentation, process manifests, and distribute completed paperwork to the appropriate teams.
  • Support the Receiving Department with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records while following all company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with high-volume data entry and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations; experience with hazardous waste documentation is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and follow procedures and standard operating instructions.
  • SAP experience is a plus. Must be able to work the assigned schedule and work on-site in Baton Rouge, LA.
