Job Description
The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information across various systems and databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of information while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and update records, documents, and patient-related information into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review incoming data for completeness and identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Verify and correct data errors to ensure database integrity.
- Organize and maintain electronic records in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with processing forms, reports, and administrative documentation.
- Respond to internal requests regarding data records and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with applicable privacy standards.
- Support departmental projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or healthcare office settings preferred.
- Strong typing and computer navigation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with confidential information is a plus.
