Clayton Services is searching for a Data Entry Specialist to join a thriving company in West Houston. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering and verifying high volumes of data, maintaining organized records, and providing administrative support to the accounting team.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Assignment Length: 2-3 weeks
Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of information prior to data entry.
  • Enter high volumes of data into company software systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Transfer information from paper documents into electronic systems.
  • Verify entered data by comparing it against source documents.
  • Update and maintain existing records as needed.
  • Identify and research discrepancies to ensure information is complete and accurate.
  • Sort, organize, and maintain paperwork following data entry.
  • Provide administrative and data-entry support to accounting leadership and team members.
