LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY
DAYS: Monday-Friday w/ alternating weekends
HOURS:11pm-7:30am

SALARY RANGE: $66,300 - $80,000
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Data Entry Supervisor will be responsible for the overall supervision of the data entry specialists. They will be responsible for overseeing the workflow and have knowledge of all work performed by data entry specialists. They will also review and document staff performance relating to performance reviews, and disciplinary actions and will be responsible for interviewing and training new hires.
In this role you will:
  • Supervises and train employees, monitors workflow in the Data Entry department and prepares technical reports reflecting volume of work
  • Checks employees' work for accuracy and corrects data entry errors
  • Interviews potential employees to fill open positions
  • Devises appropriate work schedules to ensure adequate
  • staffing on all shifts
  • Writes performance reviews evaluating staff performance
  • Documents performance issues and addresses them accordingly
  • Communicates with other department managers and staff regarding work flow, data entry follow up and test errors,
  • Assists staff in the data entry of patient information into the laboratory information system.
  • Perform work of data entry specialist as needed
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Resolve workplace issues as they arise

All you need is:
  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Ability to type 8000 KPH and demonstrate proficiency and accuracy
