Job description

Wilson Construction Company is recruiting an Administrative Assistant to support the Equipment Department at our shop facility in Woodburn. We welcome team-oriented candidates who are reliable, have a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced office and shop environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Answer and direct both phone and gate calls;
  • Greet and direct visitors and employees in a friendly, helpful manner;
  • Organization, maintenance and scanning of both paper and electronic files;
    • Heavy data entry and other departmental tasks as needed;
    • Special project work as assigned such as photocopying and laminating projects, filing projects and other various organizational duties; and
  • Clerical tasks to support the mechanics as requested.

Requirements include:

  • HS diploma;
  • Prefer 1-2 years of clerical experience in an office setting;
  • Proficient in MS Office, to include Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Data entry skills and typing 50 wpm;
  • Alpha and numeric filing skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Effective communication and ability to work with a variety of staff;
  • Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude;
  • Flexibility and willingness to help and support others; and
  • Punctual, reliable and dependable with strong attendance history.
