Job Title: Clerical Assistant
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Rotating Shifts | 37.5 Hours/Week

  • Shift 1: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Shift 2: 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM
  • Shift 3: 3:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clerical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, indexing, and document management
  • Schedule meetings and prepare correspondence and reports
  • Provide reception and customer service support
  • Operate office equipment including computers, fax machines, and photocopiers
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry functions
  • Liaise with nurses, physicians, patients, and administrative staff
  • Assist with daily office operations and workflow coordination
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patients and staff
  • Support administrative projects and other clerical functions as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience required
  • Typing speed of at least 50 keystrokes per minute required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong data entry and organizational abilities
  • Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, nurses, and staff
  • Ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior medical office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
