Job description

Our growing law practice is seeking a full-time drafting paralegal to join our team! You’ll work with our attorneys to prepare estate planning documents for clients, ensure all documents meet professional standards, and communicate with clients regarding scheduling, reviewing, and signing.

We’ll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role. You may also help compile documents for signings. If you have prior customer service experience, excellent writing skills, great communication skills, and a passion for helping others, apply today!

Compensation:

$25 - $28 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Train on all firm systems, processes, and subject matter

  • Deliver best-in-class service to clients

  • Work cheerfully with colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment

  • Use our estate plan drafting system to prepare estate planning documents with excellence and professionalism

  • Prepare deeds and trust funding instructions specific to client needs

  • Perform various tasks such as managing spreadsheets, writing emails, scanning, faxing, copying, and transcribing notes to make sure all processes run smoothly

  • Track important dates and time limits for matters and notify relevant stakeholders as needed

  • Perform administrative duties such as making and receiving phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible

  • Cross-train to other roles and practice areas as determined appropriate

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Utmost respect for confidentiality and professionalism

  • Sales or customer service experience highly valued

  • High-level organizational and time-management skills required

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for empathetic verbal and written communication

  • Strong computer and data entry skills are essential

  • Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program or a Bachelor's degree is preferred

  • Previous experience with CRM and case management software is a plus
