Position Summary

The Production Technician I plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations through a variety of hands-on production and inspection activities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in quality workmanship, and are eager to learn advanced manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include visual inspection, measurement and gaging, stacking, deburring, sanding, material handling, assisting with machinery and equipment operation, and other production support functions.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform production operations using verbal instructions, written work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Conduct visual inspections using microscopes to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Measure parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Support manufacturing processes including gaging, stacking, deburring, sanding, and material handling
  • Load and unload parts and move materials throughout the facility
  • Monitor equipment and recognize performance variations or quality concerns
  • Identify trends in production or inspection data and communicate issues to supervisors or leads
  • Maintain accurate production records and ERP system data entry
  • Follow all safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles
  • Contribute ideas for process and workflow improvements
