Job description

Shipping And Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the performance of a variety of data-entry tasks, such as recording and keeping records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. They check each shipment against shipping invoices or bills of lading. This role is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of a variety of daily functions related to inbound and outbound processes, which includes data-entry, report development and generation, scheduling, filing and internal and external customer communications. Position is responsible for maintaining standards of safety, accuracy and productivity. Performs inventory adjustment audits and other duties as assigned. Support may include data entry. Analysis of workload, communication with other departments, and outside business units or transportation carriers.

Duties:

  • Verify Inbound/Outbound paperwork in conjunction with forklift operators
  • Audit Inbound/Outbound paperwork before release to customer
  • Document scanning
  • Logging data
  • Escalating Quality issues via Teams / Email immediately
  • Cycle Counting as needed
  • Supporting S/R Clerk as needed.

Required skills:
