Job description

Job Title: Data Entry Clerk (Payments Processing Department)
Location: Pomona, CA
Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (mandatory OT; start as early as 6:00 AM)
Pay: $19/hr DOE


Summary:
Responsible for processing payments, tax bills, borrower correspondence, and data entry to support Bill Acquisition, Payment, and Outsourcing Teams.


Key Duties:

  • Open, sort, image, and index incoming borrower and tax authority mail.
  • Prepare and send bill requests, notifications, and outbound correspondence.
  • Verify tax bills, enter tax amounts using 10-key, and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
  • Identify and post incoming funds, balance payment batches, and assemble payment packages.
  • Communicate with lenders, borrowers, vendors, and taxing authorities.
  • Report quality issues and maintain production standards.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 30-35+ WPM typing; 10-key proficiency (5k+ w/95% accuracy).
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Access experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
