R&S Logistics Warehouse General Labor associates thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. This role is built for flexibility - ideal for students or anyone looking for reliable, short-notice work that fits around a changing schedule. No prior warehouse experience is required; we're looking for people who show up ready to work hard, follow direction, and handle freight safely and carefully.
Job Overview
This is an on-demand, as-needed position. There is no minimum weekly hour commitment and no guaranteed schedule; work is available on a first-come, opt-in basis. Shift assignments are sometimes posted with less than 24 hours' notice.
This is 100% hands-on physical work - sorting, moving, and organizing freight. There is no computer-based order entry, data entry, or customer service component to this role.
The Warehouse General Labor Position is On-Location.
Responsibilities and Duties
Warehouse General Labor associates have a variety of responsibilities and duties, including but not limited to:
  • Loading and Unloading Trucks and Containers
  • Sorting, Counting, and Verifying Condition of Incoming and Outgoing Freight
  • Carefully Handling and Properly Storing Inventory
  • Staging and Organizing Product for Outbound Shipment
  • Moving Product Manually or via Pallet Jack
  • Keeping Work Areas Clean, Organized, and Free of Hazards
  • Following Verbal and Written Instructions from Warehouse Supervisors
  • Adhering to All Industry-Specific and Site-Specific Safety Requirements
  • Accurately Reporting Time Worked, Adhering to Clock-In/Clock-Out Procedures

Qualifications and Skills
R&S Logistics Warehouse General Labor associates possess the following:
