What You'll Do:
The Operations Specialist is responsible helping to provide technical support to our internal team across human resources, legal, finance, accounting, and project management functions. The Operations Specialist should be highly organized with strong attention to detail, and should thrive in creating processes and checklists and finding software and other ways to help the team operate more efficiently. This person will need to be a strong communicator, a self-starter who likes to take on new challenges and sees no job as too big or too small.
This role is based in Denver, with time spent at our Denver offices as well as on-site at Casa Bonita at least three days per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources: Help with technical aspects onboarding of new employees, administration of benefits, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Data Entry: Assist with data entry into various systems related to hiring, benefits and leave administration, tracking time off, payroll, separations and related administrative processes to keep all systems synchronized.
  • Data Reconciliation: Work in Excel to reconcile data across multiple systems; create csv files as necessary; upload created files.
  • Documentation: Document all internal processes to assure complete and accurate documentation of processes and general company knowledge base.
  • File/Document Storage: Assist with maintaining the team's shared document drive. Assure consistency in content.
  • Software Implementation: Evaluate and help implement new software systems as directed. .
  • Manage internal initiatives: Help manage various initiatives and the team's day to day tasks to make sure project goals are accomplished timely and benchmarks are met.
  • Reconciling internal records: Review of health insurance premium deductions and contributions, assuring accuracy and consistency with elections made; audit these and related deductions and work with external and internal stakeholders to assure regulatory compliance and accurate record keeping.
Required Qualifications amp; Skills:
  • Up to 5 years experience in HRIS operations, or project management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with payroll, including processing
  • Experience with healthcare and other deductions and working with insurance brokers to assure correct deductions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and data; strong Excel skills are highly valued.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a broad range of people.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with Rippling, SevenShfits and/or Toast a plus
