Dietitian - Per Diem - Post Falls, Idaho
Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest in Post Falls, Idaho offers specialized inpatient rehabilitation services for patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest. As a leading rehab hospital, we help individuals overcome the challenges of strokes, amputee, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic injuries, and other serious conditions with comprehensive therapy programs. We are certified by The Joint Commission in Stroke and Amputee.
Our caring clinical team provides one-on-one physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with 24/7 nursing and physician support, all in a comfortable, healing environment.
We are seeking a Dietitian to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills:

  • Current Dietitian license required or certified by the Commission on Dietetics, as required by state.
  • One year of experience in the care of patients in hospital setting preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
  • Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

Responsibilities
Coordinates the preparation and serving of meals, in collaboration with the Food Services Manager, based on general or special diets. Specifies dietary requirements for patients with special restrictions or nutritional needs. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
