Job description

Data Entry & eCommerce Assistant
SmartTalent is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry & eCommerce Assistant to support daily data management, online product maintenance, and retail operations for a growing retail business. This role is responsible for entering and maintaining product, pricing, vendor, and inventory data, updating eCommerce product listings, and reconciling information across POS, inventory, and online ordering systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with POS systems, Excel, and eCommerce platforms, and will be highly organized, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and able to maintain accurate product, pricing, and inventory information across multiple systems. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in data accuracy and operational efficiency while working closely with store management.
LOCATION: Redmond, WA
SCHEDULE: Part-Time, Flexible Scheduling, 8:00am - 2:00pm
PAY: $21 - $22 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
• Enter and maintain product, pricing, vendor, and inventory data with a high degree of accuracy
• Update and manage product listings on eCommerce platforms
• Maintain and reconcile data between POS, inventory, and online ordering systems
• Audit product information and correct discrepancies as needed
• Generate reports using Excel to support inventory, sales, and operational needs
• Assist with online order processing and issue resolution
• Monitor inventory records and update stock information
• Support new product setup and maintenance within company systems
• Work closely with store management to ensure accurate and timely data updates
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 1+ years of data entry, administrative, retail, or eCommerce experience
• Experience working with POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data management
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and online product management
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
