Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Solutions Architect / Tech Lead to design and lead the implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms for a federal agency. This role will serve as the primary data warehouse and data lake architect, driving the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions supporting analytics and visualization platforms.

You will work closely with data engineers, cloud teams, analysts, and stakeholders to build robust data pipelines, optimized data models, and enterprise data architectures in a cloud environment.

💼 Experience

10+ years in:
Data architecture
Data warehousing
Data platform design
Strong experience leading enterprise data initiatives
Expertise in:

Data modeling (logical + physical)
Data lake & warehouse architecture
Performance tuning and optimization
Hands-on with:

Databricks
Palantir Foundry (nice to have)
Strong experience with:

Data lakes
Data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
Relational and NoSQL databases
