Job description

Position:                      Financial Planning Analyst

Location:                     50 W. Liberty Street, Reno, NV 89501

Responsibilities:          Participate in the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and ad-hoc analytics, to drive superior decision-making. Provide regular reporting and analysis on financial performance, including key metrics, trends, and opportunities. Identify areas that provide low value and work to reallocate resources to provide more meaningful information for decision support. Conduct detailed analytical reviews of sales, gross margins, operating cost and profit margins by served industries, customers and value propositions/service offerings, to improve profitability and identify cost savings opportunities. Perform P&L analysis as directed by leadership. Leverage public and private information to develop competitive analysis and performance insights. Support month-end close process and period financial reporting. Support the development and presentation of future Investment proposals.

Educ./experience:        Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, or a related field and two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst or related role in the transportation and logistics industry. Experience must include analyzing and interpreting matrixed and complex enterprise and transactional data using financial and database software platforms; cleaning, transforming and generating actionable insights using SQL; automating and streamlining data analysis and calculation processes using Python; applying Dax and Microsoft Applications to support financial reporting and analytics.                                    To apply, please email your resume to: jfarfan@its4logistics.com
