The average salary of a Data Engineer varies depending on experience, location, and industry, but in the United States, it typically ranges from $90,000 to $140,000 per year. Entry-level positions may start around $80,000, while experienced data engineers or those in tech hubs like San Francisco or New York can earn upwards of $150,000 or more.
