Job Description

This will be hybrid to start and eventually be an onsite position (M-F).

About the role

In this exciting role, you will support the data and development of complex electro-mechanical medical device systems within the Interventional Cardiology Coronary Therapies team. This role will utilize a variety of new and proven technologies to deliver life-changing medical devices to patients and clinicians in support of BSC's mission.

Responsibilities include
  • Review, annotate, and prepare medical images to support machine learning & classical algorithm development.
  • Maintain the storage and organization of medical images, annotations, and associated information.
  • Develops tools for analyzing data sets and processing medical images through commercial & exploratory algorithms.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, cloud data engineers, algorithm engineers, clinical engineers, software engineers and systems engineers locally and globally
  • In all actions, lead with integrity and demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to all documented quality processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with MATLAB or Python
  • Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
  • Experience with machine learning development frameworks
  • Working knowledge of image processing
  • Manipulating tabular metadata using SQL and Python's Pandas library
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 11), GDPR for medical device data governance.
