Job description

Help at Home is hiring Home Care Aides in Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes and assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and other activities.

This position requires a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance in your name, and access to a safe and reliable vehicle.

Pay starts at $13 per hour. Part-time and flexible scheduling opportunities are available. Available shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights based on client needs.

Responsibilities

As a Home Care Aide, you may assist clients with:

  • Light housekeeping, laundry, and basic cleaning
  • Personal care activities, such as dressing and grooming
  • Meal preparation
  • Safe and timely transportation to appointments and errands
  • Grocery shopping and other essential activities
  • Companionship and support with daily routines

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Active auto insurance in your name
  • Access to a safe and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to assist clients with varying mobility needs
  • Ability to help clients safely enter and exit a vehicle, as needed
  • Ability to complete required background screening
  • Willingness to complete organizational and state-required training

Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Help at Home provides training for qualified candidates.

Caregivers must comply with applicable state background-screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, paid time off, and bonuses vary by state and location, so please ask for complete details during your interview.

*$1,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible applicants. The bonus is paid in two installments: $500 after the caregiver has worked 500 hours from the start date and another $500 after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. The caregiver must be active at the time of each bonus payout and maintain at least an 85% electronic visit verification rate to receive the sign-on bonus. Additional eligibility requirements apply.
