Your role at a glance

As a Client Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for enabling on-time delivery and high-quality execution of the client requirements / qualified, non-standardized delivery projects. During the client deal negotiations you will support the bid and sales team with technical and contractual insight to ensure NTT GDC is set up to deliver successfully. Once contract signature has been achieved, you will become the primary client interface up to the successful handover acceptance; working in partnership with the NTT GDC delivery teams (GID - Pre-Lease and Operations - In-Operation) to assess progress and proactively resolve challenges during delivery. Critical to the success of the project is your ability to maintain strong relationships with both the client and internal stakeholders, and manage incoming client change with minimum disruption to contracted deliverables. Your role with require technical, commercial and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

What we are looking for

KEY responsibilities

  • Coordination of contractual requirements and the services and deliveries to be provided with customer management and the departments
  • Planning and implementation of customer projects involving all necessary stakeholders and coordination of interfaces
  • Monitoring deadlines, milestones, dependencies, and risks- General project reporting and timely escalation to management
  • Tracking of risks and development of measures for risk mitigation
  • Planning and conducting cross-disciplinary coordination, quality gates workshops, and supporting project participants to achieve project goals- Assistance in project planning (definition and coordination of project goals, resource/time/effort budgeting, planning of work packages)
  • Definition of project workflow and project process organizations, planning and conducting the project kickoff with the involved departments
  • Operational support in (sub-)projects by performing PM tasks (e.g. moderation of workshops)
  • Continuous development of project methodology within the team and optimization of processes and tools for comprehensive project management

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of managed services to clients, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards, with contractual agreements and compliance requirements as well as monitoring contract performance
  • Knowledge of power supply and cooling of data centers, Cx ing, Fit-Out, Security, Connectivity infrastructure, as well as product knowledge (racks, networking, data center and IT-related services, etc.)
  • Experience and certification in common project management methods such as PMP are desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Negotiation-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ensure discretion and professional handling of highly sensitive customer information.
  • Very good knowledge of handling IT devices and software systems, including very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • High competence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reliability, sense of accountability, and team spirit
  • Strong customer and results orientation, a self-structured working style, ability to delegate, and communicate at all matrix levels

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in business administration, engineering, computer science, or comparable professional experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience and certification in common project management methods such as PMP are desirable.
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience and proven successes in project management in (national and international) data center environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending
  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.

Compensation Pay Range

"This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $112,000 - $141,000
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Employees receive paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan to create a rich Total Rewards package."
