Position Overview: Work with Medical Communication Director and the publications matrix team to help with development of publications and / or medical content within assigned therapeutic area. Responsibilities: Take on assigned projects to help with development and execution of functionally integrated and aligned medical communications plans; adjust communications plans in accordance with clinical trial results / milestones and changes in the healthcare landscape.

Serve as a subject matter expert to Client internal audiences related to communication landscape, HCP preferences, publication and scientific content planning, data disclosure / dissemination. Ensure Client publication & scientific content standards are aligned with Good Publication Practices and industry standards to ensure the highest degree of integrity, quality and transparency. Required Qualifications: Advance scientific degree, PharmD, PhD or MD, preferred.

5-10 years of Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry experience with a focus on medical communications; experience in both local country & global, preferred. Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment with a focus on deliverables. Ability to analyze and interpret trial data.

Ability to manage timelines and quality of work using strong organizational, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and negotiate appropriate solutions. Pharmaceutical / Healthcare Industry.

External compliance, transparency and conflict-of-interest regulated work environments. In-depth knowledge of Good Publication Practices and guidance (GPP, ICMJE), Sunshine Act, Pharma Code of Conduct, and other guidance related to post-marketing practices and scientific data communication. Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP), and ISMPP active member, highly desired.

Understanding of clinical trial design and execution, statistical methods and clinical trial data reporting requirements. Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, and familiar with publication management (iEnvision) and content management (Veeva) tools.
