Job description

The Order/Data Entry Clerk plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Hummel brand through accurate, timely order processing and data management. This detail-driven position ensures that custom and inline product orders are entered correctly, pricing is verified, and customer accounts are reviewed thoroughly before production and fulfillment begin.
This is a six-month position with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data for both custom and inline product orders with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Process sales orders and purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Work within Business Central to manage and process daily order entry and data needs.
  • Review and verify customer pricing to ensure accuracy prior to order processing.
  • Evaluate account standing using credit symbols within the system.
  • Accurately enter orders under promotional or purchase accounts as applicable.
  • Maintain strict attention to detail to ensure all information is complete and correct.
  • Communicate with internal teams to clarify discrepancies and resolve order issues efficiently.
  • Support overall order management workflows to ensure smooth production and fulfillment processes.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in data entry, order processing, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience working within ERP systems (Business Central experience a plus).
