Job description

Data Center Superintendent
Build the backbone of tomorrow's digital world.
We're launching a new role-and looking for driven Data Center Superintendents ready to take ownership of high-impact, hyperscale construction projects. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, lead from the front, and want to be at the center of cutting-edge infrastructure builds, this is your opportunity.
Travel: 90%+ (projects require staying on-site for 3+ consecutive months)
Location: Nationwide
About the Role
This is a newly created position designed to strengthen our on-site leadership presence. As a Data Center Superintendent, you will serve as the primary point of contact on site for our customers and general contractors, overseeing day-to-day project operations and ensuring all work is executed on schedule and within scope.
Each superintendent is fully dedicated to a single project site at a time, allowing you to take full ownership of project success from start to finish.
What You'll Do
Lead the Jobsite
You'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader-owning daily field operations from kickoff to closeout.
  • Run day-to-day site operations on large-scale data center builds
  • Drive schedules, coordinate logistics, and keep projects moving forward
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and crews across multiple work fronts
  • Track daily progress, manpower, and proactively address delays
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance at all times
Be the Face of the Project
You're the go-to leader for customers and general contractors.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for GCs and owners
  • Lead site coordination meetings and communicate project updates
  • Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and infrastructure teams
  • Collaborate on RFIs, submittals, and change orders with project management
Deliver Quality That Lasts
You'll help ensure every build meets the highest standards.
  • Partner with QC teams to maintain quality across all phases
  • Review inspections, track corrective actions, and resolve issues
  • Support final turnover and project closeout documentation
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience in commercial or industrial construction
  • Data center construction experience strongly preferred (hyperscale is a big plus)
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage high-volume, fast-paced job sites
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing momentum

Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with fiber optic or low-voltage infrastructure
Required Certifications
  • CSOC - Construction Superintendent Ops Certification
  • OSHA 30 (Construction)
  • Avetta compliant (or able to obtain upon hire)
Why This Role
This isn't just another superintendent position-you'll be building the critical infrastructure that powers cloud computing, AI, and global connectivity. You'll work on large-scale, high-visibility projects with real impact, alongside teams that move fast and expect excellence.
