Job description

The Data Center Project Manager is responsible for delivering large-scale, mission-critical data center infrastructure projects in highly standardized, schedule-driven environments. This role requires strong execution discipline and experience working within strict customer controls.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage hyperscale data center projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and customer standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owner representatives, general contractors, and internal teams.
  • Execute work in accordance with customer-defined standards, playbooks, MOPs, and change control processes.
  • Coordinate estimating, scheduling, material planning, and design coordination with internal teams.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and required project documentation.
  • Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with site requirements.
  • Direct Foremen, Team Leads, and Field Technicians across multiple work areas or buildings.
  • Track schedules, manpower, costs, and milestones; escalate risks proactively.
  • Ensure all testing, labeling, as-builts, and closeout documentation meet customer and CC&N standards.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customer and CC&N stakeholders.
  • Uphold CC&N's safety culture and operational excellence.
Education/Skills/Experience
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in data center, mission-critical, or similarly scaled environments.
  • Experience working within highly standardized and controlled customer frameworks.
  • Strong working knowledge of structured cabling, fiber, and low-voltage data center systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects with aggressive schedules.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and cost-control skills.
