Reports to: Construction Manager
Works closely with: Construction Manager, Site Quality Manager, Owners, Subcontractors, Project Management Team
Position Summary:
This is a field based position that works closely with the Project Management team to assist in managing the civil scope for the project. You will assist in assuring that the project is being constructed in accordance to the owner's contract.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
  • Review project civil plan documentation and civil subcontract to assure alignment.
  • Manage all subcontractors that are performing the civil scopes to assure that all timelines are met and with a high level of safety and quality.
  • Experienced in managing SWPPP/DEQ plans and requirements.
  • Through collaboration with the subcontractors, plan daily job activities for the civil scope of work.
  • Knowledge of all project plans, specifications, drawings, submittals, and permit requirements.
  • Provide daily updates to project management team for tracking of daily progress.
  • Works with Project team to accurate track scope, schedule and cost for the civil scope.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
  • Experience with solar and/or wind construction.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate own and others' actions, manage own time and manage personnel resources.
  • Sensitivity to problems; ability to look ahead and tell or predict when something is wrong; able to revise and adapt plans as necessary.
  • Ability to read and understand project specific documents including plans, schedules and specifications.
  • Ability to keep records and prepare daily work and time reports.
  • Experience with Procore.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others and clearly communicate instructions to crew.
  • Strong client relation skills.

Education/ Experience:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
