About the Opportunity

Our client is an established, global leader in enterprise CAD/PLM technology built specifically for the shipbuilding and fleet sustainment industry. With a strong presence across North America, Europe, and Oceania, they are seeking a PLM Configuration Specialist to join their Enterprise Solutions team.

This role plays a key part in developing and customizing client-specific PLM solutions that support a broader enterprise solution architecture, working under the guidance of experienced team leads. The ideal candidate must be located within North America, Australia, or Europe. Fully remote work is available, with hybrid or in-office options also offered at select company locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure client-specific PLM solutions as part of an agile, cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and overall product architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan, design, and develop new PLM features, customizations, and enhancements in response to customer and business requirements.
  • Interpret requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable software solutions within the PLM platform.
  • Support the Enterprise Solutions team with client solution deployment, troubleshooting, configuration/customization demos, and technical guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews and QA testing to ensure solutions meet performance and functional requirements.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including development specifications, release notes, user guides, and test plans.

What We're Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Required: Experience configuring/developing PLM or Engineering Change processes.
  • Required: Proven experience with JavaScript and C#.
  • Required: Microsoft SQL Server experience.
  • Preferred: Exposure to CAD and Design Review applications.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
